With close to three decades of experience in journalism, Bamidele, says he is thrilled to join The Plenary as Executive Director, Publications, North Central.

With a career that has taken him through Elders Magazine, which he co-founded in 1998 with his late friend Moses Aisekhaomon, to Pharma News, a leading health newspaper in Lagos at the time, as the Northern Correspondent based in Kano, to National Mirror in Abuja, followed by brief stints at Westerner and Next Newspapers, Bamidele subsequently joined Premium Times and moved in 2015 to serve as a country correspondent for Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa), Germany’s leading news agency, for several years.

Bamidele has since transitioned to academia, lecturing in the Department of Social Science, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State.
He holds a BSC degree in Economics/Education and Masters in International Relations.

He is happily married with children.
